To insure years of quality service, all Empty Creek Shooting Benches will require periodic, routine maintenance to major components.
Placing a drop of oil on the threads every 2 to 3 uses will keep the stud system functioning at peak efficiency. Coating the entire leg top unit, including the mounting cup with a light coat of gun oil will keep rust at a minimum, and insure smooth operation. Periodically check the mounting system screws for tightness. Check the connection points for dirt build up, especially in the mounting cup throat, and the leg top shank and stud, and clean these parts if necessary.
